WE TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES WITH ART

Transformation led by and for the community

OUR MISSION

TRANSFORMATION ARTS is committed to creating economic democracy by empowering communities with art at the intersection of migration, race, gender, ability and social justice.  We seek to create new, culturally authentic narratives with arts that empower, encourage self-reflection and accountability; ultimately building a coalition advocating for equitable distribution of wealth and resources.

OUR VALUES

WHAT WE DO

TRANSFORMATION ARTS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural equity arts organization that has managed public art projects, multi-disciplinary art exhibitions and festivals since 2013.

When community members are engaged as change agents in their own community, transformation occurs.  With community-based public art and opportunities for artists to receive more training and resources, Transformation Arts is committed to supporting that change in communities of color.

Over the years TRANSFORMATION ARTS has generated public art, art forums, multi-disciplinary arts and festival events, gallery exhibitions, art performances, poetry slams, art jams, virtual events, art marketplaces, live streams, and networking events for artists.  We’ve also advocated for affordable housing for artists and others in need.
