Great ending of book one. Normally I have a favorite couple in Nora’s trilogies, but I love all six characters in this one and the way they all have relationships with each other. ❤️❤️❤️

you can tell who's speaking just by the conversation and i love it! you know that had to be sawyer with the last line!

After Doyle told them what had happened to him in 1683. Sawyer’s good sense of humor, I think helped lighten everyone about Doyle.

Love how each of the six have a very distinctive voice. Sawyer has the humor, but Anika is all heart.💜

Really enjoy the humour in all NR books especially when i laugh out loud which is quite often

Doyle needs the brotherly humor of Sawyer, the sweetness of Annika, the steadfastness of Bran, the strength of Riley and soft touch with steel of Sasha.

I just finished this series for 3rd or 4th time and loved it just as much as the first time.💕💕

I can't remember when I first read this what I originally thought. I probably was thinking demigod at the time. With the rereading these, I can see the foreshadowing and clues provided. I need to learn to slow down for my first read through on these triologies. 😉😄

It’s been awhile since I first read this series, but if I remember correctly, I thought Doyle was also a time traveler.

I’ve read the books three times. Don’t want to give anything away, in case some have not read them all. Such a wonderful trilogy! Oh and accidentally bought two copies of each. Lol

I'm usually content to let the story lead me where it wants to go. I knew he'd have a secret, but was content to wait until the storyline brought it out

I did not expect that one when I was reading. I kept looking for clues as to what his secret was, but did not guess that!

After all the others secrets I wasn't surprised he was immortal. They are a very intriguing group

I wasn’t surprised at all - can’t think of anyone who fights with a sword these days. I love the diversity of the characters and the uniqueness of what each adds to the team. It makes them stronger as a unit.

As with many people I didn't see it coming on my first read. Also it's not unheard of for Nora to kill off a 'main character'. I can see the clues now I've re read it many times.

Sawyer's comments are hilarious. I can see Doyle trying not to smile or laugh to hold in his tough guy persona. Immortal ? No, I didn't guess that one.

I did not expect it to be immortality! I was actually leaning toward time taveler like Sawyer!

At one point I was briefly thinking (maybe hoping) some sort of vampire thing. 😎 Then it was maybe a long-lost Knights Templar or knight of the Round Table 🥹

That was kinda idiotic to say, but I don’t blame him you don’t actually get to meet dead people who aren’t ghosts
