Law Associates Ltd was a consulting firm that specialised in water engineering, contracts and cultural heritage management.

Garry Law ran Law Associates Ltd and is now retired.

His career included:

·       Seventeen years in line management, general manager and chief executive roles in territorial and regional local government and local authority trading enterprises, responsible for water and wastewater services, solid waste disposal and countryside parks variously to New Zealand's largest city, Auckland and to Brisbane, Australia. 

·         Engineering management roles as client or Engineer / Superintendent or site engineer to contracts covering hundreds of millions of dollars of capital project expenditure. 

·         Technical engineering roles in dams, hydrology, hydraulics, water reticulation, airport operations. 

·         Lifetime association with New Zealand archaeology with leadership roles in national and local organisations. 

·         Board role in Auckland Museum, concentrating on its governance reorganisation and first stage redevelopment. 

·         Board roles, Water Services Association of Australia, Brisbane City Enterprises, Waste Transformation Ltd.
