About the Business
Rami's is Glatt Kosher, under the supervision of KVH, Chabad Rabaanim (the Kashruth Commission). There has been a consistent menu for the 30+ years that it has been open. Authentic Israeli/Middle Eastern foods such as falafel (perfectly sized golden crispy chickpea balls), shawarma (turkey on a spit, cut to a thin crisp), bourekas (puff pastries with various fillings), houmos (mashed garlicky chickpea spread), and much more. If you are a family or hungry business, Rami's offers the option of pick-up, delivery, or catering. We will size them appropriately for any size group. They are open Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday from 10am-3pm, just in time to grab some delicious bites before we close for the Sabbath!

Overall: 7.5/10
Taste: 8/10
- Falafels here are by far the best thing. Very crisp outside but not too dense inside with nice non-oily flavor
- Everything else here is quite bland. The hummus and spicy sauce are decent.
Price: 6/10
- The plates are very overpriced for the amount of meat and size of the portions.
Service: 9/10
- The workers were very friendly and welcomed us in with a falafel and hummus sample
Ambiance: 7/10
- The inside is cramped and the high tables we sat at had part of it being used for storageHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Lola C.New Haven, CT0321Mar 30, 2024
Amazing customer service. Dana is wonderful! I placed an UberEats order that was never picked up and they super kindly made me another one. UberEats customer service was the worst but Rami's made up for it! Thank you!

One of the best kosher chicken shawarma and falafel pita sandwiches I ever had in New England

So good that I had to come back because I just couldn't stop thinking about it! The falafel and hummus pita is filling and well worth it. I brought my grandparents here and they loved it! The owner came out and talked to them which made the visit feel a little extra special. Service is friendly and ambiance is comfortable because of it! It may not look like much from the outside, but trust me, go in. You won't regret it!

It's expensive (which is typical for the city) but you definitely get quality worthy of the price. The staff is kind and the ambiance is clean and simplistic. Looking forward to my next visit!

Can't even begin to say how much I love this place. I always get the falafel and hummus pita and it always exceeds expectations. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place and even though the inside is small, there's plenty of seating inside and outside. Best falafel I've ever had!

I've been coming here since it first opened over 30 years ago. There's a reason it's still around! Great food, friendly staff. Falafel is great. The Kebab Yerushalmi is excellent. The beef cigars are great. The pita is soft and fresh. Lots to like!

A taste of Israel without the long flight! We had falafel, shawarma, hummus, salad and fries. First the fries were so good! Crispy and not too salty. Yum! Loved everything but especially the hummus. It was smooth and flavorful. Highly recommend! There are about 6 tables inside.

Been coming here for years, and it's the best and most authentic falafel you can get in MA. Service can be slow, and sure, the environment is outdated, and yes...it's also pretty expensive, but Rami's is an institution in my mind and I love getting a huge falafel pocket with extra Israeli pickles! Delicious food and definitely try a nectar drink if you like the taste of ripe fruit!

I was craving hummus and salad this day, so this was perfect. Everything was super fresh and you can tell they make it in store. The hummus was amazing, I scraped it off the plate. The salad was fresh, I jus wish they gave me more pickles, and a different hot sauce. Overall a great option for a quick healthy and refreshing lunch option around Coolidge corner.
