About Kleinfelder Water Technologies
Founded in 1961, Kleinfelder is a multi-national engineering firm with over 100 offices across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. In 2020, Kleinfelder acquired Industrial Fluid Management, a well-established water cycle services company with emphasis on water and wastewater biologics, operations, technical assistance, design-build engineering, and complete system integration. End-to-End Water Treatment Solutions for Solar Panel Factories
Kleinfelder Water Technologies provides services to a solar panel manufacturer with a multi-state presence, including seven facilities across three U.S. states. In total, these facilities treat more than two million gallons of water each day.
Custom Double-Pass Reverse Osmosis System
Kleinfelder Water Technologies provided services in the design and manufacturing of a unique double-pass reverse osmosis setup for a large commercial client. Kleinfelder teamed with an external fabricator to design and manufacture a unique equipment setup that exceeded the client’s water-quality requirements.
Ohio DOT Rest Stop Water Treatment Systems Maintenance
Kleinfelder Water Technologies provides licensed water and wastewater professionals along with trained technicians to service roadside rest facilities across the state.
Travel Center Treatment Plant and NPDES Permitting
Kleinfelder Water Technologies completed the design, NPDES permit application, and construction of a 10,000-gallon-per-day treatment plant to replace a single-cell evaporative lagoon.
Reverse Osmosis System and Water Reuse in Steel Manufacturing
Kleinfelder Water Technologies designed and installed a new two-stage reverse osmosis system at the North Star BlueScope Steel facility. This upgrade helped to provide better influent and effluent quality, as well as water reuse capabilities.
Septic System-WWTP Replacement Design and Site Selection
Kleinfelder Water Technologies designed, permitted, and constructed a 25,000-gallon-per-day wastewater treatment plant and pump station for a travel plaza client in Texas. This system replaced a failing septic system.
Auto Parts Manufacturer Reverse Osmosis System
An auto manufacturer tasked Kleinfelder Water Technologies with the design, procurement, and installation of a complete water treatment system to provide high-quality water for its painting process. The system was designed to meet water quantity and quality requirements with no interruption in the manufacturing process.
Ultrafiltration of Oily Effluent to Meet New Standards
Teaming with the automotive maker’s engineering team, Kleinfelder Water Technologies and membrane vendor-partners determined that engine manufacturing wastewater could be filtered with ultrafiltration (UF) membrane technology under the proper conditions.
