Pops Corn

I really hate this place. I'm not supposed to have it, but I can't help myself. It's really difficult when you are standing in the middle of Macy's, and the smell hit you. I've actually been coming here for a long time. I've eaten all the different varieties of popcorn they sell. My favorite one is the carmel. My wife has got me tubs of it for special occasions, but I like it best when I get it right after they make it! It hasn't cooled down all the way, so it's still warm. Yummy!!!! I also like the chocolate popcorn. It's really good, especially when it's mixed in with the carmel corn. The frozen lemonade is really good, too.
I'm just glad that there is no longer a location by my house. I think I would end up going their almost every single day.

I used to love the popcorn here and I've tried all of the old standby ones..the caramel, the cheese(my favorite), the regular and the chocolate covered caramel.

Hadn't had it in a long time and decided to buy a small bag of cheese popcorm on a recent trip to the mall. It tasted stale to me, perhaps because there was so much cheese on it and I do know it goes on wet while they mix it, but it never was a problem before. I was already home when I tasted it so I couldn't really return it so it was pretty much a waste of money and I'm glad I only had bought a small bag of it. I also ordered their frozen lemonade which was as delicious and refreshing as always.

The staff was very nice and very helpful so I hate having to leave only 3 stays but just can't get past the stale popcorn. I'm hoping it was just an off day and honestly most likely to try it again but I'd taste it there so I can return it if it's stale again.

We fell in love with this treat in Weston and later in Coral Springs. Both had closed and we were pleased to find this location in the mall in Pembroke Lakes. Well ....

Let's first stay the employees are very nice and even bubbly. They were offering a couple samples outside to get people in, nice work. Sour Cream was unique and delicious.

So why the average score ?? Two things came to view that seemed disappointing. First , they use to have some very visible proprietary type popping machine and always hot and fresh. You smelled popcorn however all the flavors appeared previously made and sitting in large glass bins.

We always chose the Pops Corn mix (caramel and cheese) and was happy to see it was still offered ... well not like the past however. The cheese popcorn was made with a wet cheese add upon ordering and mixed in a large kettle. It was delicious and unique. Unfortunately the cheese popcorn now appears more of a powdered cheese add that misses the taste and cheese stains on your finger tips after eating. You miss this as you would eating Cheetos and then licking your fingers. The new version just isn't the same.

In the end we also found several kernels and the corn used didn't seem to be the same quality and uniqueness of their original design. We also got no sample of the chocolate caramel popcorn which was laying all over the location in sheets. Even after asking about it ... no one offered a piece after the largest mix bag was purchased.

It was a pleasure to revisit overall but a snack that misses on what made it special in past to me personally. It simply felt like a cheaper version of what was once the best popcorn you could find locally in all of Southern Florida.

They have popcorn in many different flavors... caramel, cheddar, chocolate caramel, chocolate mix, kettle corn, white cheddar, sour cream & onion, cookies & cream, and original if you don't like flavored popcorn. They also have cookies, ice cream & frozen lemonade.

You can have their popcorn shipped and they don't charge for shipping. Their promise to you is that if you don't get your delivery on time or if you are not 100% satisfied, you get your money back.

Who wants to wait once a year for the annual fair when you can have the best frozen lemonade any time you want it? With more than just snacks we really enjoy Pop's Corn.

We ordered Popscorn's 3-flavors tins from our boss to the team this year and we got great positive feedback for the popcorn quality, taste, freshness and the whole Popscorn experience including the scoop/paper bags and beautiful tin. I highly recommend it and plan to order again to try their famous chocolate popcorn next time. Thank you.

So...I am seriously not sure how I have never reviewed Pops Corn before. I have been eating their popcorn since their first location in Weston....which means at least 15 years!

There is nothing better than the smell that this location gives the mall. Located right outside of Macy's, I have a love hate relationship with this place. Before we start with the popcorn, have you ever had their lemon ice? No? GO GET IT NOW!

Okay...I have had ALL of their popcorn...plain, kettle, caramel, Carmel with chocolate (which they give you a sample when you purchase the caramel), and cheese (mixed with the caramel oh my!). I have ordered it as gifts to be shipped, bought as gifts for our vet, bosses, office staff. We even had the caramel popcorn as a favor at our wedding. A few years ago, I also ordered it for work and they supplied us with 500 individually wrapped bags of custom colored popcorn!

What reminded me to write the review today? I just ordered a 4 gallon tin to be shipped to coworkers in OH and received a nice thank you from the owner. A simple thank you, but most places you just get a confirmation of sale. They are always friendly when you make a purchase, whether it be 1 bag or 500, they rock customer service.

The only disappointment I have with Pops Corn is when the bag is empty.

Great popcorn, always fresh! These are great for the holidays. They have a wide variety of decorative tins to choose from, including sports teams and holiday themes. Popcorn flavors include: Caramel, Caramel + Chocolate, Sweet & Salty, and Cheese. My personal favorite item is actually the frozen lemonade, yum!! Definitely stop here if you're inside the Pembroke Lakes Mall.

The smell of the popcorn here perforated the air throughout the mall. We came in at another end and the scents drew us down towards the popcorn store. There was a young lady handing out lemon ice treats that had actual lemon and no sugar. It seemed like nice cooling treat for a hot day so I decided to grab some. I also grabbed a bag of the Chicago mix popcorn. They gave me a little chocolate covered popcorn as well in my bag. I didn't really care for the taste of the chocolate. The popcorn was perfection. The cheese had just the right cheesy taste and the caramel coated popcorn was perfectly buttered.
The shop also sold ice cream and sodas. I didn't purchase anything else on this visit but did come back the next day for ice cream. Oh boy was I ever delighted with the ice cream options. I had the cookies and cream with butter pecan and both did not disappoint.

Our photography studio started using Pops Corn as a giveaway at the end of our mini photo sessions over Christmas. The Karmelkorn it was delicious and a big hit with our clients. For our valentine sessions we pre-ordered bulk pink popcorn. When I called to confirm it was ready for pick up they discovered the order wasn't processed correctly and was not ready for us. Stephanie at the main store made some calls and she had our order delivered from Pembroke Pines to our studio in East Fort Lauderdale within the hour to meet our deadline.
I am so impressed with that level of service. They have earned a client for life. Looking forward to sharing our "sweet" find with our clients!
