Since 2009, our sweet and savoury shop has been serving Toronto's best all-baked-from scratch goodies! We have been featured in Toronto Life, BlogTO, numerous Toronto TV morning shows, and most recently the focus on The Food Network's Project Bakeover. The heart of OMG is in our Grade-A Ontario maple syrup...straight from the farm! Whether it's Maple Tarts, a grab-n-go stuffed focaccia, our homemade poptarts, or bake-at-home options, you may arrive at OMG hungry, but you'll leave happy.…

OMG Baked Goodness was on Project Bakeover on Food Network, season 1, episode 2 https://www.foodnetwork.ca/shows/project-bakeover/video/episode/maple-makeover/video.html?v=FOOD0056272110000000 It was fun to watch the episode before actually making my way to the shop. I already knew before getting there that I had to try the maple tart but wasn't sure what other baked goodies would speak to me.

I ended up getting a small maple tart and a s'mores pop tart. The s'mores pop tart was pretty much just like a s'more with all the pillowy, marshmallowy and chocolatey goodness inside. I heated it up for a few minutes in the toaster oven to enjoy it nice and warm. The small maple tart had a flaky crust and it was surprisingly not too sweet.

The total came to $10.32. I pulled out three $5 bills and Jordan slid one of the $5 bills back to me and said that it was okay. I was a bit take aback. It's so rare that a business will not make sure that you give them every last cent (or nickel). It's too bad the shop isn't close to home or else I'd keep going back to sample everything. Or maybe it is a good thing the shop isn't close to home haha.

      OMG the Maple Tarts.

They definitely live up to their reputation. They were a huge hit with everyone who got to try them. I bought a few as an after-cycling treat for my friends and they RAVED about them. I should have purchased twice the amount because everyone wanted seconds! I don't know what they do to the crust, but it was PERFECT and the filling was absolutely amazing. I usually don't like sweet treats at all but I could eat these all day. You can definitely taste the hard work and effort that was put into making these. Do yourself a favour and come get these. They are SO GOOD.

I received 4 bake-at-home croissants from OMG as well and they were amazing! The instructions are easy to follow and yielded perfectly golden buttery fresh croissants.

I also ordered a hot crossed bun and it was pretty good as well, but not really my thing! It was still a good experience and they only make them once a year so I'd recommend trying it if you are lucky enough to catch it.

I live quite far from the bakery but I think it's worth the trek. Can't wait to try their vegan cupcakes, homemade poptarts, and turnovers next time!

      Amazing mini Maple Tarts!

Since the bakery opened, it has been a neighbourhood staple in Little Portugal. Growing up, I would use my allowance to get cupcakes as a treat for my family.

I returned to my home neighbourhood for the Yelp promo to get "Bake at Home Jumbo Butter Croissants." I had recently seen OMG on a bakery renovation show which featured their maple tart and decided to grab one too! Friendly staff explained directions on how to bake the croissants at home.

Seeing that I wanted to eat the croissants that day, I laid the croissants on the pan with a clean cloth over it and let it proof (allowing the dough to rise) for eight hours before baking it. I forgot to apply the egg wash, but the croissants still ended up coming out very delicious, flaky, and buttery! I would compare it to eat a cloud, and it was effortless to make at home to enjoy. The hardest part was waiting for them to proof.

The maple tart was a treat, although it may be too sweet for some. The pastry was buttery and flaky. It would be a good accompaniment with morning coffee/tea.

Thanks to a Yelp promo we discovered this place!

We got croissants and cookies to bake at home but couldn't resist getting a chocolate mini cupcake and I think a sliced mini cupcake with pumpkin icing, a mixed veggie pastry, s'mores pop tart and mini maple tart. ( don't visit here hungry :) ). Staff was very friendly and has a great neighborhood gem vibe to it. Will be back to try our that herbed focaccia and some more savoury treats too!

Good location | Great variety | Friendly staff

OMG Baked Goodness is kind of out of my way as I live in the suburbs but it was worth the drive. The bakery definitely has its own experiential vibe and makes them pretty Instagrammable.

I received 4 unbaked croissants to bake fresh at home. The person behind the counter was friendly and walked me through the process as well.

The showcase was stocked and I could tell they were still baking in the back. They were also COVID safe with glass barriers, directly stickers on the ground and signage on the door.

I proofed and baked the croissants as per the instructions and they turned out fantastic. It was my first time having fresh croissants and it was an experience. When I'm downtown I'll definitely visit again!

Came by to try sweets after getting the Yelp Elite Perk. I'm pretty sure this place was featured on Project Bakeover or a Food Network show at some point! The staff are super friendly and adhere to any social distancing guidelines.

I got the maple tart which was super delicious! Definitely quite decadent, but surprisingly not as sweet as expected (but still sweet).

Note: they only accept debit or cash payment!

Thanks to YelpElite community I was able to try this cute bake shop! The decorations was very cute and the bakery display window was mouthwatering.

I ended up getting the caramel apple butter tart and the double chocolate chip cookie. The tart was sooo flakey, crunchy and gooey delicious. The cookie was good with different type of chocolates on it. It was big and chewy!

Definitely recommend this bakery if you're in the area and I'd come back to try more of their other desserts!

I came here on a rainy Sunday to pick up some frozen croissants. I was relatively early at around 10 am there was one person in line ahead of me. The person behind the counter gave us useful instructions on how to bake the croissants.
On the following weekend I gave it a try. The night before I put the croissants in a zip lock bag to expand and put it on the bottom half of the fridge. I set out parchment paper on a cookie sheet and cranked up the oven. The croissants come out not bad. One of the folds didn't stick. The smell and taste of fresh baked croissants is just heavenly!

I was lucky enough to be included in OMG's Bake at Home event and had the opportunity to check out this cute bakery. We took the opportunity to pick up a treat and a loaf of day old bread (half off!) at the same time. We got the Sausage and Cheese Fun Bun, and the helpful staff heated it up for us so we could enjoy it as we took a walk in the neighborhood. The bun was large enough for two as a snack and wasn't too salty (as most sausage buns usually are). Total came to around $9.

I really liked the loaf of bread. You couldn't tell it was a day old and it was full of herbs that gave each slice a lovely aroma and flavor. We simply toasted it and it was perfect as is!

Looking forward to baking the croissants soon :)

Ventured out of my area of the city to try this quaint little bakery because of a promotion. As soon as I walked in the smell took me away and I knew I needed to try a whole bunch of baked goods. It was a hard choice but I decided upon a bunch of cookies, croissants and a focaccia bread. The cookies were crispy around the perimeter and soft in the centre. The croissants were absolutely fantastic as well. But the star of the show was the focaccia bread. This is a must try! Crispy crust with a soft and dense interior. The herb flavour was so good. Ate the whole thing on one sitting. I will be back.
