Mr. Baguette is a French-Vietnamese café that specializes in sandwiches, croissants, and coffee. At the core of our menu are our freshly-baked baguettes. Whether you buy it as part of a sandwich or buy it alone, the baguette is one of the best compliments to a meal. We have a variety of classic and premium sandwiches to choose from. Have a taste of our jambon ham, pork meat loaf, pork head cheese, and our signature pate and mayonnaise spread in our most popular sandwich, The Special. Or try the chicken/beef fajitas sandwich, which has got the crowd going crazy since we first introduced them. Customers can choose to enjoy sandwiches in our French baguette, sesame baguette, or soft French baguette. We also have a variety of drinks. Our iced milk coffee is the drink to get! It contains 6 ounces of our thick, not too bitter, coffee that will make you saying "wow" the moment you try it for the first time. We make all of our raw products in-house: from the meats to the pastries, curries, and of course, their infamous baguette bread. We strive to provide our customers with the best experience possible. We hope to see you soon!

If I wanted 10 sandwiches cut into thirds, could you tell me the cost? I didn't see the price on the website. And how soon in advance would I need to order? Thank you. 10/18/23

To follow food health guidelines, we would prefer customers to leave their pets outside or in the car with the windows down and ample air flow. Cheers!

The banh mi sandwiches are decent, I wish they would distribute the veggies (cilantro, jalapeños, pickled carrots and radish) evenly throughout the sandwich and that they would be more generous with the pate lol
Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, I usually get the Ham & Egg and pay additional to add cheese. It was nice that they have the $10 deal for a breakfast sandwich and any drink, especially if you were planning on getting their yummy Vietnamese Coffee or Thai Tea anyways.
Their tuna sandwich was also good, they are generous with the tuna!

Nice customer service every time.

They have their own parking lot which is super convenient. There's also street parking in front and to the side of the establishment.

Sandwiches there are pure dope! The best ones are the pork, the beef and best of all the bacon. The place is super clean plenty of room and great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. I will be going back.

Not my first choice for banh mi sandwiches, but I like Mr. Baguette BETTER then LEE SANDWICHES down the street.
I got a grilled pork banh mi for my hubby and he enjoyed it; I had a bite and wasn't impressed. Mine was the banh mi with Vietnamese cold cuts and basically the overall taste was bland, dry, very skimpy on the pate. Missing the mayo, Maggi seasoning, and SALT!
They do have good baguettes here - 3 different kinds: regular, soft, sesame. This place isn't stellar, but it does take care of the banh mi craving - kind of.

Came by during lunchtime and it wasn't too busy. Service was fast with little wait time. There are a few tables inside to eat at. We got the: #5 Grilled pork sandwich ($8.79) and #9 Lemongrass beef sandwich ($9.99). They both tasted great, as delicious as usual! Good portion at a reasonable price. You get full from one sandwich.

They have a special combo for $10. Choose one of the 4 breakfast sandwiches and one drink (including the $6 iced coffee, fresh OJ...) fast service and fairly quick sandwich build. The egg was fried fresh upon order. Easy parking, fresh ambiance, open area.
Next time will get the meatloaf and egg (which my gf says comes with pate) instead of just pate and egg. And the coffee is always a must, strong and not too sweet.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

I'm glad you like the bread so much, Graciela! I like the creativity, and that definitely sounds like a great sandwich. You should totally try one of our banh mi though, and maybe a Vietnamese coffee to go with it -- I know you'll love it!
So, about how often would you say you come in? Just curious, thanks!
Take care,
Thomas T. - ManagerDec 25, 2022Previous reviewTHE COFFEE is jet fuel. Strongest and tastiest in the sgv. It goes for $6. Right now they have a free baguette with YELP check in so hurry! I have always been a fan of their bread.
Apr 27, 2022Previous reviewDefinitely gotta get the baguettes here. They're only $1.75 and so crispy on the outside yet dense and moist inside. It also tastes much better than Lee's baguettes. Highly recommend their bread here. Next visit I will try the soft one
Jul 13, 2015Previous reviewThis is solely about the bread. No sandwiches, no croissants, no drinks.
Breakfast/Lunch 101 is get a BAGUETTE ($1.25) warm and chewy (they were still cooling on the rack) Go to Claro's italian market nearby and get the prosciutto $27/lb. Make a chopped tomato salsa, drizzle olive oil and Boom - instapicnic.
The bread is excellent, i can't find myself buying any other baguettes (Brea bakery, even Sams club fresh baked aren't as light) If you like dense baguettes, this is not for you. - 39130166May 8, 2023
It's fast! They're friendly! The food is high quality! The space is clean and well lit. Most folks can call in their orders and pick up very quickly, but there are often Paris-style round tables and chairs for you to enjoy each tasty morsel.
When I need a savory, buttery, crispy, and fulfilling quick bite, I always either get the special (number 1: dac biet) sandwich or the pate chaud. What's a pate chaud? It's flaky puff pastry that encases a delicious large peppery chicken meatball that's seasoned to perfection. They will heat it up for you if you plan to immediately devour the baked delight, which I guarantee you won't be able to resist. I encourage all who go to try everything at least once!
'They're just sandwiches' ... but they're NOT 'just sandwiches'. The Vietnamese Banh mi is leveled up with crispy toasted baguettes that enclose savory, sweet, and spicy components of each sandwich. You can get the expertly pickled shredded daikon and carrots, cilantro, and jalapeño chili on the side if you plan to take your sandwich to go. It keeps the baguette from soaking up the juices and prevents a soggy bread.
The baguettes are famous for a reason. We grew up buying the baguettes, pate, cha lua, the pate chaud, raisin rolls, sweet croissants... these are flavors and textures of my childhood that I plan and hope will persist for my children too!
As always speak clearly and tip well!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 29, 2023
My wife and I stopped in for breakfast one morning and were not disappointed. The baguettes had a hard, flaky exterior, but they were still soft.
We had no complaints with the service nor with the coffee. Overall, this place is worth stopping by to grab breakfast, and we may come back for lunch some time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 57618780Jul 13, 2023
Yum! I love this place more than Lees.
I usually get their Special (#1) with everything inside. Their bread is crispy and the overall sandwich is so filling.
Definitely would come back!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
