Outdoor lessons and hacks in August!

Riding Acadeemy is pleased to offer our current clients the opportunity to ride at Sunnybrook Stables during the month of August, on our school horses!!

Lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis, and are booked around the schedule of the head instructor, and the lease riders. Privates and semi-privates will be available as well as the opportunity to havk through beautiful Sunybrook Park. All lessons are weather permitting, and will usually be outdoors. Spaces are limited!!

Lesson packages pre-purchased at the Riding Academy can NOT be applied at Sunnybrook (as we cannot access our database during the break), so lessons need to be paid for day of in the Sunnybrook Office.

Riders must be intermediate level or above - cantering and jumping. Please contact Meagan directly at megaloney@gmail.com to book a ride between July 31st and August 28th.

Also, if you have not already filled out a Fall Reservation Request form, please send your current lesson time, what your availability is in the fall (days and times) and whether you are interested in group, semi-private or private lessons to the office as soon as possible. The office closes tomorrow (Friday July 29th) at 5pm, but you can reach us by phone until then, or by email throughout the month at horsepalace@bellnet.ca

Wishing everyone a warm and relaxing summer!!

Extra Lessons/Summer Closure

Hello Students!

The last two weeks of summer are upon us! Is anyone looking to add a couple of extra lessons between now and when we close?
(We will be closed as of 5pm on Friday, July 29th)

Maybe a private to work on pesky bad habits one on one, or a make-up that you've been looking to book. I have plenty of spaces available on weekday evenings after 5pm. And a few on weekends as well.

Please contact the office via phone or email if you're interested in booking.

If you're done for the summer and are hoping to re-start lessons in the fall semester, please make sure that you have filled out a "Fall Reservation Request" form with the office, so that we know to include you in our fall scheduling. If you forgot please email the office with your current lesson time and day, and what your availability is for the fall.

Thanks and have a great summer!

Park on the western side of the underground, and you can walk out through the "Heritage Court" exit which will bring you out right in front of the Ricoh Colliseum. Parking will likely stay in that location until the 13th or 14th of July.

Closures: The Riding Academy will be closed for lessons and assessments from end of day Wednesday, July 6th until beginning of day Monday, July 11th. Riding Academy bids farewell to coaches Brandon and Kendal

From all of us at the Riding Academy we would like to wish Brandon a big farewell and good luck as he moves on to pursue his career as a chiropractor. He has made a big impression on many of our students, and we will miss him here! We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We would also like to wish Kendal lots luck as she heads down south to compete in Florida with 4 horses! Kendal is working hard to qualify her horses for the Pan Am's and we hope to have her back in the spring with lots of ribbons and great stories. (And maybe a tan.)

Christine Curtin will be taking over both of their shifts and as sad as we are to see them go, we feel fortunate to have such a great replacement.

Joker's Hill Jumper Show

Shaken Not Stirred (Seven) and Fast Forward (Robin) both placed well this last weekend at the Joker's Hill Jumper Show with riders Aimee Longhurst and Clare Feldmen both bringing home ribbons.
