Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Today is Wednesday ……………………………………………. Good Morning, MJ 💕
Swedish Weaving
I don't remember who posted originally about this, but thank you!!
I have a new craft to try as I just got two books on it.
Open to interpretation
I saw a car with a personalized tag that said, "FLOSS2X". I thought,
"Oh boy! A cross stitcher!". But upon reflection it could be a person in the
field of dentistry telling us to floss twice a day!
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Good midweek morning everyone. I am going to start with a question. I have never stitched on 36 ct. before and I received my cloth yesterday for "A New Constellation". Do you use one strand of floss or two? I am waiting for the rest of my floss order before I can start and am looking forward to stitching this one in time for the 4th of July. Nothing planned today so we'll see where the day takes us. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
"Taps"
Gets me every time. Watching the laying of the wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, with a lump in my throat. Remembering and honoring those in uniform who gave everything for this great country of ours. Let us honor them by also being grateful for the freedoms we enjoy everyday due to their supreme sacrifice.
May I recommend . . .
If you are looking for a way to lose a whole day (pleasantly), may I recommend FlossTtube?
For anyone who is not yet initiated into the parallel universe which is the internet, FlossTube is a subset of YouTube. It is for needleworkers of all kinds but I think cross-stitch and quilting account for most of the videos. I kid you not, there are THOUSANDS of videos posted by stitch fans and stitch professionals alike. Every time I log on I find at least a hundred new ones, and I'm only looking for those that are labeled with my particular interest topics. Bad thing is my interest topics are expanding. Looking at the various ways other people finish off their projects has led me to seek videos on other skills-- framing, heirloom sewing, dyeing, painting and drawing, button collecting etc. etc. etc. I haven't discovered the bottom of this thing and am beginning to suspect there is not one.
ECS has a channel. Teresa Kogut, Vonna Pfeiffer and other designers do also. There are many by enthusiasts of Dimensions, Lizzie Kate, Mirabilia, Homespun Sampler, Heaven and Earth Designs, Little House, Prairie Schooler and Chatelaine, to name only a few!
If you think I must be guilty of starting one video and hours later discover it is bedtime because I absent mindedly flipped to several others, you're right! Call it a guilty pleasure if you like, but I plan to get guilty one day this week. Trying my best to reserve the other days to actually stitch.

I am looking for a piece of white 14 count that is 64x45, can you make that happen for me?
Not xstitch
🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
Yee Ha!
after struggling with my newly fixed computer, I found the password for this sight. Now I can go back to reading all the posts. I still haven't got my Mo-Jo back but my XS set up is still beside my chair after a year.
Christian Stitchers Daily Chat
Good Morning
Genesis 45: 11-20
11 "There I will provide for you, lest
you and your household, and all
that you have, come to poverty;
for there are still five years of famine.'' '
12 "And behold, your eyes and the eyes of my
brother Benjamin see that it is my mouth
that speaks to you.
13 "So you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt,
and of all that you have seen; and you shall hurry
and bring my father down here."
14 Then he fell on his brother Benjamin 's neck and wept,
and Benjamin wept on his neck
15 Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them,
and after that his brothers talked with him.
16 Now the report of it was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying,
"Joseph's brothers have come." So it pleased Pharoh
and his servants well.
17 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Say to your brothers,
' Do this: Load your animals and depart; got to the
land of Canaan.
18 'Bring your father and your households and come to me;
I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you
will eat the fat of the land.
19 'Now you are commanded-do this: Take carts out of the
land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives;
bring your father and come.
20 'Also do not be concerned about your goods,
for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.' "
Have A Bless Day!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. Yesterday passed uneventfully after the power outage, and we were able to grill some baby back ribs and have corn on the cob after all. We like to wrap the ribs in foil and bake at 250 for a little over an hour so they aren't tough to eat. Talked to my son and thanked him for his service during the Iraq war and had a good conversation. Today it's back to "A Room With a View" until the end of the month. Finished "It's Always Tea Time" yesterday and made it into a fridge magnet. Thinking of making Christmas fridge magnets. So many stitching ideas! Have a good Tuesday and hope you all had a good long weekend!
Seriously?
10 colors…2 have the same symbols…guess who noticed too late? Good thing this is small….
