I’ve been doing some spring cleaning in my head. Along with the cobwebs and dust, there are things in there I just need to toss. Things I can’t do anything about no matter how much they annoy me because they’re out of my hands. They frustrate me, anger me, befuddle me, and give me a bad attitude. Some are things other people find just as annoying, angering, and frustrating, and maybe sharing them, and expressing them aloud will clear our heads.

MH FFA Agronomy team wins state honors

HOT SPRINGS — Members of the Mountain Home FFA Chapter received state champion honors in the State FFA Agronomy Career Development Event (CDE) during the recent 2024 Arkansas FFA State Convention in Hot Springs. The team will represent Arkansas in the National Agronomy CDE at the National FFA Convention in October.

MH NJROTC returns from epic competition

Navy Junior ROTC of Mountain Home High School recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to Daytona Beach, Florida, where the teams participated in the annual All High School Drill Nationals on May 4-5. The Bomber Battalion competed against U.S. Army, U.S Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force JROTC from more than 90 different units across the nation.
