With over 20 years' experience as a senior commercial & technology lawyer I have been involved in negotiating and drafting complex commercial and technology contracts since the dot com boom.

After being called as a Barrister I now specialise in drafting and negotiating a wide array of contracts having acquired my expertise across a range of technology organisations including a ‘start up’ search engine, a mobile phone outsourcing company and a travel GDS.

My current role is with Synamedia a PayTV operator, telco and media company technology solution provider.

My primary responsibilities include the provision of legal support for Synamedia’s Video Networking business and advising on a wide range of technology matters including hardware, software and licensing matters. Examples include:

  • Negotiation of customer contracts globally
  • Advising on technical support and professional services matters
  • Working with supply chain teams to implement and manage third party manufacturer and logistics partners
  • Support of third-party procurement projects
  • Reseller arrangements
  • Third party technology licensing

  • I am a proven self-starter who can work effectively individually or within a team with experience of managing a team.

    I am well versed in working on emerging technology contracts such as digital marketing and AI robotics and am a strong negotiator having honed my skills representing both vendors and customers throughout my career.

    I am experienced in working on GDPR and Privacy related matters.

    As a senior lawyer I also have experiebnce of supporting Tax, Corporate Real Estate, Procurement, Compensation & Benefits, Marketing and HR to meet business objectives.

    I have regulary worked on special projects sponsored by senior management whicch included instructing external counsel as required.

  • Technology Supply Chain - negotiating and managing partner relationships related to technology manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Payment Solutions - payment solution service provider agreements.
  • IT Agreements- negotiating licensing, opensource services, outsourced service agreements SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
  • Marketing - media, digital, social media and CMS providers.
  • Service Agreements - consultancy, staff augmentation and training.
  • Procurement - hardware, services and software including support of inbound and outbound RFI/RFPs.
  • Export - support Dual Use Technology export.
  • Comps & Bens - pension schemes and benefits platform.
