The Canadian Pandemic Preparedness Hub (CP2H) has been awarded more than $115 million to boost Canada’s capacity to develop and manufacture life-saving biotherapeutics, including vaccines, gene therapies and cell therapies.
CP2H is co-led by McMaster University and the University of Ottawa, in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital.

Students debate the first Choix Goncourt Canada at the University of Ottawa
Young university students from Ontario, New Brunswick and British Columbia have agreed to be a part of the jury for the first edition of the Choix Goncourt Canada.
The French Department of the University of Ottawa is involved in the initiative. Students at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, alongside Mawy Bouchard, professor and director of the department, jumped right in and created a book club to read the works being considered for the 2023 Prix Goncourt in order to choose which to defend. Claudia Bouliane, professor in the department, oversaw the process.
