CANYON HILLS CLUB OUTREACH

According to Brent Rodriquez, director of sales and marketing for the Canyon Hills Club, the club’s Resident Council recently brought dinner and dessert to the three shifts of firefighters and ambulance teams at Fire Station 9.

Canyon Hills Club Resident Council consists of nine dedicated residents who represent all of the residents at Canyon Hills Club. They organized and delivered the food, which was prepared by Joe DePhillips, director of food and beverage for the club.

The club joined together with the Anaheim Hills Rotary Club to donate a plaque to Fire Station 9 in appreciation for all their hard work and service to the Anaheim Hills community.

As part of the club’s “Give Back to the Community 2010 project,” it and the Anaheim Hills Rotary Club have also partnered to assist Anaheim Interfaith shelter Halcyon, which provides transitional housing for working adults and their kids gain permanent housing, full-time employment and become self-sufficient.

A collection box is now available in the lobby of Canyon Hills Club so that the community can make donations such as: school supplies, child care needs such as diapers, bedding, food items macaroni and cheese, bread, juice, canned goods, cleaning supplies or larger items such as furniture.

Rotary members have instituted a canned goods food drive at local grocery stores throughout this month. For more information, contact Rodriquez at 714-974-2226.
