Product Description
ALLSTAR WEEKEND is Zach on Vocals, Nathan on Guitar & Vocals, Cameron on Bass and Michael on Drums. Beyond their exceptional musicianship and stage presence, these guys write great pop songs: melodic, smart and edgy. Moreover, they wield a mature craftsmanship beyond their years. It's unmistakable in songs like the synth-hook-laden "Dance Forever" and the introspective "Journey to the End of My Life," that are featured on this upcoming debut album!
Review
The band's synth-based, dance-driven blend of pop rock and pop punk is nurtured on its debut by producers Howard Benson (The All-American Rejects), S*A*M & Sluggo (Katy Perry) and John Feldmann (Good Charlotte.) -- Billboard
From the Artist
From lyricist Zach: "I'm a kid, so I feel issues a kid my age would listen to. I try not to write every song about a girl."
Adds Nathan, "When we first came to this band, we just felt we had to write all the time. That's all we did. We just developed this cool writing process, and people started liking it."

HEY, PRINCESS - One of the more popular songs on the album. Features punk influences, a subtle use of paired vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, extensive vamping, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, major key tonality, electric rhythm guitars, and a subtle use of strings. 10/10 rating.
A DIFFERENT SIDE OF ME - Allstar Weekend's first studio-produced track. Features basic rock song structures, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, and major key tonality. 9/10 rating.
DANCE FOREVER - The most popular song on this album, first released as a single before "Suddenly" came out. This song features electronica influences, a subtle use of vocal counterpoint, a subtle use of paired vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, interweaving vocal harmony, extensive vamping, a clear focus on recording studio production, major key tonality, electric rhythm guitars, prominent use of synth, subtle use of fender rhodes, and upbeat lyrics. 11/10 rating.
CLOCK RUNS OUT - Probably the least popular song on the album, but still has a very catchy chorus. Features punk influences, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhythmic syncopation, varying tempo and time signatures, extensive vamping, mixed acoustic and electric instrumentation, major key tonality, a vocal-centric aesthetic, and heavy electric rhythm guitars. 8/10 rating.
AMY - A nice, rock-style ballad. All I have to say is if someone is named Amy then this is the song for them. Features acoustic rock instrumentation, punk influences, mild rhythmic syncopation, acoustic rhythm piano, use of a string ensemble, extensive vamping, major key tonality, a vocal-centric aesthetic, acoustic rhythm guitars, and romantic lyrics. 9/10 rating.
JOURNEY TO THE END OF MY LIFE - An upbeat look to the future. Features basic rock song structures, punk influences, mild rhythmic syncopation, extensive vamping, major key tonality, electric instrumentation, and a subtle use of vocal harmony. 10/10 rating.
THE WEEKEND - What can you do on the weekends that you can't do during the week? This is the perfect song to wrap up the album with. Features basic rock song structures, punk influences, extensive vamping, a vocal-centric aesthetic, a subtle use of vocal harmony, mild rhytmic syncopation, electric instrumentation, heavy electric rhythm guitars, and a major key tonality. 10/10 rating.

This album is worth every penny. It might even be a little too inexpensive for such great-sounding, feel-good music. Every song explodes with positive energy.

Four adorable teenagers, Zach, Cameron, Nathan and Michael - create this fun group of young heartthrobs and up and coming hit sensations.
My daughters and I have seen all the posts and plugs on television concerning All Star Weekend and while we were interested we weren't outright sold on their music until we had the chance to review this cd, Suddenly.
Again, we had the chance to listen to the album over and over again on our 6 hour drive to visit my sister. Hands down "Hey Princess" was our #1 favorite. I challenge you to know start dancing, hopping, clapping or bobbing your head while listen to this song....so cute! Definitely geared for the younger teen or tween but as a parent, I enjoyed it right along with the girls. In fact whenever they asked me which CD I wanted to listen to...this was my choice!
Dance Forever reminded me a bit of the retro 80's vibe which was great for me and had the twins jamming away in their car seats in back. A Different Side of Me....has great lyrics to sing along with. A lot of wisdom to appreciate who you are in the lyrics too. Kind of surprising but it was a great asset. My least favorite was Amy...not because it was a bad song, no it was very cute, but after the first three songs being rather fast and upbeat...well, it just kind of didn't belong (at that moment).
Make sure you pick up your copy of the CD...but remember the only way to listen to this is with the music cranked all the way...'cause you are going to want to sing along!
All Star Weekend completely reminds me of Blink 182 and Yellowcard who I also love. The CD also has an Internet feature when you put in into your computer which is cool since it takes you to their official site, facebook, twitter etc. It's an awesome CD with great features that I would definitely check out!
I recommend listening to "A Different Side of Me" even though all the songs are great!

Disney系の番組から出てきたバンドというだけあって、
(1)(3)(7)などはとてもキャッチーなんですが、
Taylor Swiftからパクってきたようなメロディがあったりで既聴感バリバリ過ぎるかも・・?
決してクオリティが低いわけではないですし、
気になる人はとりあえず買ってみても良いかもしれません。。笑
