RES responds to report on insect decline and food security
FeatureAfter giving written and oral evidence, the Royal Entomological Society responds to the House of Commons – Science, Innovation and Technology Committee report on insect decline and UK food security.
Our landmark grand challenges study, published 21 March 2023, in Insect Conservation and Diversity, sets out the ‘grand challenges’ facing insect scientists now and into the future. The report highlights areas of insect science that require the most urgent attention to conserve insects and the important services that they provide, helping people and global biodiversity to flourish.
