“But he was pierced for our transgressions,

 he was crushed for our iniquities; 

the punishment that brought us peace was on him, 
   and by his wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:5

I’m sorry that I haven’t responded to this post until now. I just want to give you some encouragement:

The words that stuck out to me from your struggles are “drop out”, “move”, “relationship”, “rejected”, “downhill”. I pray that God reveals to you exactly why there is comfort in the Father through Jesus.

-Jesus died not for the “worldly successful,” but for those who have failed…the drop-outs. The prostitutes and criminals. (Matthew 9:10-11). Jesus wants to dine with you and love you because you are a sinner worth living and dying for.

-Jesus experienced so much painful “movement” in his life. When he died, his disciples fled from him. His own father abandoned him. Why? So that through his sacrifice, that you can draw near to him!

-Jesus, apart from his Father and the Holy Spirit, had a broken relationship with everyone else. Judas, whom he thought was his friend, betrayed him (Matt 26:14-16). Simon Peter, his most passionate disciple, denies him (Mark 14:66-72). Jesus’ own earthly family was  embarrassed of him (Mark 3:21). He was willing to endure all these broken relationships, so that in his death and resurrection, that he could restore his relationship with you!

-Jesus, who was born out of the line of David, the nation of the Jews and Israel, was rejected by his own people. The very people that welcomed him into Jerusalem when he was riding on the donkey were the very people that shouted, “Crucify him!” (Luke 23). Jesus was  rejected by the people he came to die for, and even by his own father on the cross, so that now, even though you may be rejected by the world, the eternal God will NEVER reject you in JESUS! (Romans 8:31-39)

-I know exactly how you may feel. It feels like the world is crumbling around you. It feels like your spirit is failing. It feels so hard to even live another day. What happened to Jesus? His world actually crumbled around him, his spirit actually left his body in death, he persevered every day of his life, knowing that he would die for the people who hate him. 

Jesus carried his cross UP A HILL so that he would die and fall down the HILL OF DEATH. Why? All of this, to give you a promise that goes beyond any promise or comfort this life will ever give you, the promise of eternal life and satisfaction with God in Heaven!

My brother/sister. It is not easy. It is so very painful, but I beg you, I pray for you, that you will throw yourself upon Jesus, and ask him in all of your doubts and all of your despair to save you! He has gone through everything that you have gone through so that you would gain the promise of eternal joy in heaven! Remember that this life is short, so fleeting in comparison to eternity! 

Jesus loves you, my friend. I pray that you will give yourself wholly into our LORD’s salvation, in all your doubts and weaknesses.

“Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. ⁸Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. ⁹ But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. ¹⁰ That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Cor 12:7b-11
