Saas Fee ski resort:
“Went here for two days because no snow in les Diablerets.
1. Very snow sure. Lots of runs above 2500 with good quality snow.
2. Trend to intermediates - there are a few itineraries but half were closed.
3. Lifts work ok, very little queuing.
4. Resort quite pretty with nice feel.
5. Expensive.
6. I imagine in early mid season the weather can often be too bad to go out but great fallback for reliable late season snow.”

Ski Bromont ski resort:
“Great potential wasted.
Bromont is just 1hr driving from Montreal, on the south shore. There are plenty of varied slopes for all levels of skiers. The chalets (base and top) are recent or renovated, the slopes are groomed three times a day, the lifts are gradually replaced year after year and the snowmaking equipment is regularly updated (last generation fixed fans).
Unfortunately, they don't make enough snow with unfavourable seasons, opening only 50 to 60% of terrain, mostly boring tracks for beginners/intermediates. This combined with too many lift passes sold, and crazy real estate development in the last years. It's always crowded in the lines and annihilates the pleasure of skiing on the slopes with crazy skiers coming from everywhere. Not to mention the prices through the roof now.
In addition, there's a lot of lift failures for no reason increasing the frustration.
Bromont used to be a great place. Hoping they wake up soon to focus on why people come in the first place. Skiing and have fun.”

Whistler Blackcomb ski resort:
“Whistler/Blackcomb was once one of the best ski resorts in the world, but now it's been destroyed by the greedy Vail corporation. First time I skied Whistler was in 1968, when all that was there was the Creekside gondola, 2 chairs, and a T-bar. But now, the lineups there are insane, even during mid-week. lines of 30-40 minutes are the norm and completely unacceptable. Another big problem are the arrogant Americans! I bought a seasons pass this year but will definitely not be getting another.”
Robert Moeser from CANADA - 17 Mar 2024
