Paintings made by a gorilla at Paignton Zoo are for sale

N'Dowe's keepers Craig and Lorraine put blobs of paint onto the canvas and let him use his fingers to create the artwork.

The keepers describe N'Dowe's paintings as abstract. "He seemed to enjoy it - he got paint all over himself and us!" said senior keeper Craig Gilchrist.

N'Dowe is just seven-years-old and he lives with five other gorillas at the zoo.

Paignton Zoo have put the paintings by N'Dowe on the online auction site eBay. They're hoping to raise more than £8,000 for ape conservation.
