The Salida High School baseball team fought a battle against the La Junta Tigers April 27 on the road, but the team ultimately needs to tighten their defense and cut down on letting their opponents hit or walk, coach Ken Skipper said. They lost both games of a doubleheader, 6-0 and 9-3.
