International RFID Business Association Research Initiatives

As part of its research initiatives the International RFID Business Association (RFIDba) publishes RSW-Global Guides™ (RFID, Sensors & Wireless end-user handbooks) which target specific industries and market segments with high-quality educational content drawn from end users and real world case studies. These solution handbooks frequently include insightful analyses of research data from market surveys conducted by the RFIDba and its partners.  Through our research on the impact of these technologies in different industries, we’re helping the global business community of end users and technology suppliers address applications which deliver business value and yield a return on investment.

Current Research Project

We’ve teamed with Reed Exhibitions to survey end-users around the world in conjunction with Interphex Pharmaceutical Exhibitions being held in 2007 and 2008.  Beginning in India in September, end-users, academics, students, and vendors will be surveyed to find out where emerging technologies are being deployed and where the biggest challenges are found - with the technology itself, or with managing business process change.

The RFIDba has engaged Dr. Paul Squires and his team at Applied Skills & Knowledge, Inc. to ensure the survey is scientifically based and follows best practices.  AS&K is an internationally recognized leader on workplace research and the impact of enabling technologies on workers and work processes.

If you would like to participate in the survey and receive a copy of the summary results, please fill in the box below.
