DHCP option 60

To configure option 60 on the Microsoft
DHCP Server from the command line:

1.
C:\Windows\System32>netsh

2. netsh>dhcp

3.
netsh dhcp>server \\server_machine_name

4.
netsh dhcp>add optiondef 60 PXEClient String 0 comment=PXE
support

5. netsh dhcp>set optionvalue 60
STRING PXEClient

6. netsh dhcp>exit

To
configure option 60 on the Microsoft DHCP Server using the Microsoft
DHCP Server management console:

1. Select the Server
Options
folder.

2. Click the Action
button on the menu bar and from the menu select Configure Options.

3.
Select 060 ClassID from the Available Options list and verify
that PXEClient has been entered for the string value.

4.
Click OK to save the change.
