Looked at a new headlight lens being installed at the dealership. The New lens was giving installer fits as it was made to install with 4 sheetmetal screws instead of 4 threaded bolts. The new part has just plastic bolsters :bsflag2::bsflag2::badidea:to screw into and not the brass threaded inserts on the old. Think they broke one of the bolsters just screwing it in and had to ream the other holes to make the cheap screws fit. Hope new machine arn't made with such "improved" parts.

That sucks. I've seen a lot of that with aftermarket crash parts for cars, but I wouldn't expect that from Kubota, especially for what they charge for OEM parts. And that's always been the rationale for spending the $$ for genuine parts- exact fit.
I'd be ticked enough to tell them to ship it back to Sri Lanka or wherever and get the right one. But that's just me. I used to sell parts and my customers weren't shy about stuff like that.
