French Polynesia

Tahiti's Society Islands

Many consider Tahiti and her surrounding islands to be the epitome of tropical - an ideal honeymoon setting. Including Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and others, these islands are known for dramatic landscapes, bright blue waters that support just about every water sport you can think of, Polynesian culture, World War II history and truly getting away from it all. About 80% of the islands' visitors are honeymooners, but fortunately there are plenty of uninhabited motus (islets) for all. Read on to find your perfect French Polynesian honeymoon experience!

Why French Polynesia

Reasons to choose French Polynesia:

Overwater bungalow accommodations, consistent weather, access to all kinds of watersports, beautiful scenery, and a bit of French flair mixed in with Polynesian hospitality. One of the best places to be dropped off for an all day picnic on an uninhabited islet. Overall a very romantic, beautiful place.

Reasons to choose someplace else over French Polynesia:

7.5 hour flight from LA, if you like a cosmopolitan buzz, if you'd rather not see other honeymooners, or if you are not beach or water sport people.
