Now that I have made such a bold statement, let me back off a little and admit that I don’t know what 
anti-malware software is the best. What I do know is that we can actually leverage a behavior that a lot of malware exhibits. “What behavior is that?” you ask. Well, I’ll tell you.
My primary machine at home, the one that has “important stuff” on it, is a virtual machine that runs on my main server. What type of environment does more and more malware not run in? Yup, a virtual one.
So, there you go, install a lightweight Linux OS with a virtualization platform or something thing VMWare ESXi and then load your daily OS on top of that. Wah la! Best anti-malware software == malware itself.
Of course, I am not saying you have nothing to worry about with type of configuration. There is a whole host (pun intended) of issues that need to be dealt with and, of course, not all malware is quite this accomodating. But it did make me stop and go hmmm.

The problem with your setup is simple- an “average Joe” user won’t be able to operate with it properly. That is why anti-viruses sells so high, despite its inability to solve malware problems.

PC running best
I have tried so many different types of scans to help keep my PC running at its best and one thing that I discovered is that they all tend to find the same types of bugs. The main difference between them all is the price that you pay. Recently I discovered Search-and-destroy at search-and-destroy and I really like it a lot. Antispyware solution from Search-and-destroy which is one of the best scans I have ever used and I’m sure that you will be very happy with it as well. Go ahead and give it a try, you will be glad you did!

I normally dont post on blogs but here is my two cents:
If we are going to get into a debate of which software removes malware the best, the winner is Malwarebytes Anti-malware. How do I know this? Because I work at a helpdesk at a large college and we currently support 3800 computers. We have tried (and in many cases still use) all of the following: Command Anti-virus, Sophos Anti virus, Ad-Aware Professional, Spybot (which I believe you refer to as “search-and-destroy” even though that is only the final part of it’s full title: Spybot: Search-and-destroy”), Windows Defender, symantec corporate and Malwarebytes.
Time and time again, you will find machines infected with crap…even though it is running an anti-spyware app of sorts. Time and time again, you install Malwarebytes to clean up where all the others have failed.
my antivirus sucks a lot to solve problems with malwares and adwares…
