The Misfits Of Science are Colossal and Optimus, a hip hop duo from Auckland, New Zealand. In 2000 the pair first met in an urban wear shop, ‘spun the proverbial and ultimately formed a friendship fuelled by all things hip-hop’ - Colossal

Several award winning videos, a No.1 single, and platinum and gold record sales later, Misfits Of Science (MOS) have developed a unique and inimitable style that’s a little different from your average hip hop. They are currently working on their sophomore release and productions for other artists for their record label Hoof.

The fast beats per minute, mixed up style and unique lyrics of their music fitted perfectly with the new stunt, puzzle, platform, racer gameplay that GripShift™ brings to Playstation™ Portable (PSP™)

MOS created the original track “Shift” for the GripShift™ soundtrack which accompanies the 5 other tracks specially remixed for the game from their debut album ‘MOS Presents….’. A special version of the Ragga Remix of ‘Fools Love’ single also appears on the game.
