tbh, if i had the opportunity to go, i definitely would. it’s something to look forward to, and you and your friend can have a good time together. it’s an opportunity to make memories, y'know? that being said, if you feel it’s more important to save money right now rather than go, i would talk to your friend about splitting hotel fare and stuff. hope this helps!!
