Hi all,
Well, all is in the title !
Yesterday in the late afternoon, I was very surprised by an awesome opening on 10M to South America, and turning my VFO on the CW part, my band scope showed me "activity" in the SSB part... It is Bob VP8LP, beamed in his direction, he is a real 5/9+10dB here !! One call and in the log ! "Beautiful signal Chris"
It is my 3rd QSO with Bob, new band...
Later, I am on 15M CW, I see an old spot (10-15 minutes ago) announcing E51NOU, I don't remember where in the world the spotter was... Nothing announced more.
Beaming to South Cook Islands IOTA OC-013 direction, I hear Bill (N7OU) calling CQ lonely simplex ! I call one time and Bill answers me "F8DZY F8DZY 599". Wow ! It's an All Time New One again here !! My worked DXCC # 256 and worked IOTA # 294 ! Thank you so much...
The last QSO with Bill (N7OU) was from Chatam Island on 40M CW (ZL7/N7OU), hope to be able to log him again !
