According to Idalia School District RJ-3 Superintendent Jim Poole, the only thing that is harder to fin than an electrical socket in a classroom is the window of opportunity to receive a Colorado BEST Grant.
BEST Grants address health and safety issues by providing significant financial help to rebuild, repair or replace the most needy school buildings in the state.
“Idalia’s current school building which dates back to the 1950s shows its ages,” Pool said.  “It’s unsafe in places and it is just not a healthy place.”
