Matt proposed to Amanda Christmas Eve 2001.

Here are "blow-by blow" pictures that we took Christmas eve as Matt proposed to Amanda when we began to exchange our gifts. Mouse over each thumbnail image to read about the picture, and click on it to see the actual-size image.

Matt gives Amanda the first Christmas gift of the evening to open   Amanda opens and Matt waits......does he look nervous?   Amanda opens the box, says "hmmm...I have a bear here" - then sees this shiny thing tied around the bears neck!
She loves it! Matt puts it on her finger....   Amanda thinks the ring is perfect...
