three nights in France at your lovely Domaine du Bas Caumont, that I
wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay with you. We loved
your elegant, white house overlooking the Seine and our quiet,
comfortable room, but the highlight for us were your delicious
breakfasts, served in the lovely breakfast room, our table covered
with a snowy white batiste cloth, French doors opening onto the
property and the Seine beyond, and the occasional doorstep visit from
friendly Alf! Visually it was delightful, but the breakfasts in
particular were wonderful - something different every morning -
gourmet eggs, yogurts, interesting cheeses, fresh fruit, buttery
croissants, brioche, excellent homemade jams, unending good
coffee.....even a first (successful) attempt at muffins! You made
such an effort to please us and we very much appreciated it. Thank

Amazing, boats cruising on Seine river seems to split the countryside, don't forget your camera!
No bridge here, only little free ferries to croos the river!
Touching, this light in the Seine Valley...
To be seen, the wonderfull impressionist collection of Rouen Art Museum and locations where the paintings were actually executed ("La Bouille" by Sysley, Monet, la Cathedrale de Rouen by Money etc..)
Around, severals Abbeys (Jumièges, St Georges de Boscherville, St Wandrille), castels, fresh markets, Rouen, Honfleur and Giverny etc...
Easy, the motorway up to the cliff (5 mn driving) enables to drive easily to Rouen (15 mn), Honfleur (45mn), Giverny (45mn), Etretat, Le Havre.
Savor, my copious and delicious breakfast (I love cooking!), a tea in the garden, a good restaurant in LA Bouille, a visit to Alain, antic dealer!
New, book your gourmet tray and savor it in the garden looking at boats cruising (when tide is hight!)
