History of Bag-Pack, Inc

Bag-Pack was founded in 1988 through the purchase of an existing poly bag manufacturer, who serviced small local accounts. It is privately held by Steven J. Dreyer (President) and Ronald C. Dreyer (Vice-President), its original founders. After building the base of the business on poly bags in the early years, Bag-Pack began developing more sophisticated converting capabilities in the early 90’s, in response to requests from customers. The engineering background of both principals has enabled Bag-Pack to expand their technical capabilities to meet the needs of various packaging markets. After developing the capability to provide various specialty packages from PE foam to bubble to hermetic sideweld bags to pocketed bags, Bag-Pack entered the zipper poly bag market in the mid-90’s. Glue closures followed in the late 90’s and standup pouches in 2000. All these were in response to market needs and our goal to provide many packaging solutions to our customers. Bag-Pack has consistently provided high quality products to local, regional and national companies. Our breadth of products has enabled us to help companies develop their packaging across the spectrum of options and features required to compete in today’s changing markets. From clear poly bags to high speed wicketted bags to zipper closures to standup pouches; from unprinted to 2 or 3 color “line” work to 8 color process, we’ve developed both our internal and external capabilities to be “technical partners in flexible packaging”.
