Well I (AReyeP) thought I'd put those few Doom and Duke Nukem 3D maps I've made on our site as well. They've been sitting on my backup disks for yonks now - maybe someone may have a little fun with 'em... All were designed with deathmatch in mind, however they have been set up for single play as well. Just in case you may have forgotten, with Doom maps, copy the wad file to your Doom directory, and from within your Doom directory from the DOS prompt, type: Doom -file xxxxxxxx.wad (without the " of course, and where xxxxxxxx is the wad name), then hit Enter. With Duke 3D, copy the map file to your Duke 3D directory, and type Duke3d map xxxxxxxx (where xxxxxxxx is the map name). All Doom maps are Episode 1, map 1. |
