LIVE from the airport–Scott Jensen of KTVA CBS 11 caught up with me on the ramp to check in on Club 49 fares o’ the week (MUST be purchased by 12 Midnight TONIGHT!!), plus TRAVEL GEAR. Here are the top three items I travel with:
a. The “Brain Bag” from Tom Bihn. This is a great backpack, with good padding for my laptop, a strap for the tripod, lots of pockets and S-t-u-r-d-y! Check out this exact bag here.
2. My rolling carry-on bag is from Magellan’s. Heck–I even went to their retail store in Santa Barbara, although they do most of their commerce online. This is not the biggest bag they have–but it’s expandable, with the special “packing cubes” so I can keep my undies separate from my dress shirts, etc.
3. My coat has 1,000 pockets. I am not making this up. Check Scott Jordan’s site for the down-low on the “Scott-e-Vest” line. There are separate pockets for sunglasses, for your point-n-shoot, for your iPod, your smartphone….the works. Really handy when you’re traveling!
