What is Allpoint Network?

Allpoint is a network of over 55,000 ATMs worldwide that provide surcharge-free cash access for participating banks, credit unions, and prepaid card providers.

No, Allpoint is not a bank. We are a network of ATMs that banks, credit unions, and prepaid card providers can join to provide their cardholders surcharge-free cash access.

Unfortunately, we do not offer individual memberships. Please contact your card provider to determine if they are part of the Allpoint network.

Please go to www.allpointnetwork.com and check out the “Do I have access to Allpoint?” tool and enter the first 6 digits of your card number and we will tell you whether or not your card is in Allpoint.

Unfortunately, the decision for offering and operating an ATM ultimately lies with the storeowners.

Yes! Allpoint is located in the United Kingdom, Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, and Mexico at this time. Please contact your financial institution to find out more specifics about international access for your account.

No. The institution’s ATMs are not a part of our network. Our machines are located in retail establishments and labeled with our logo on the physical machine on the logo strip where the other networks, such as Visa or Mastercard, are listed.

Yes! If your institution participates in Allpoint Network, ATMs you find in our Allpoint locator are guaranteed surcharge-free regardless of location branding.

Yes. All ATMs listed on allpointnetwork.com are surcharge-free, even if the Allpoint logo is not on the ATM. It may take 4-6 weeks to get our logo added to new ATMs.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact your card provider and ask to start an ATM EFT Dispute. They will take over then and get your straightened out.

Each ATM has a different per-transaction withdrawal amount limit. Allpoint does not limit the number of transactions that can be done a day. Your card provider does have a daily ATM withdrawal amount limit. Please contact them to learn more.

A surcharge is a fee the owner of the ATM machine charges any cardholder not part of their network. It’s a fee you pay to use someone else’s ATM. Surcharges are typically between $1.50 and $3.00.

Good question, a transaction fee is from your card provider. Your card provider may charge you for every ATM transaction over the limit they have set per month. You need to call the toll-free number on the back of your card to find out if they have set a limit and what it is.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please call your card provider using the toll free number on the back of your card for reimbursement.

The ATM does not know your card participates in Allpoint until the transaction is completed. This is why you see the “surcharge-screen”. As long as you are using your Allpoint card, and the ATM shows up on our network you will not be charged. Simply press “Accept” and complete your transaction.

Yes. Your ATM card will continue to work at ATMs that are not included in the Allpoint network. However, you will be assessed a surcharge fee at the large majority of ATMs that are outside the Allpoint network.

The locator is updated weekly to reflect any changes to our network.

Deposits are only accepted at our select Allpoint+ locations and are only accepted if your card provider participates in Allpoint+. Use the toll-free number on the back of your card and check with your card provider if you can use Allpoint+ Deposits.

Yes you can. The Visa/Mastercard logo on your card allows you make purchases wherever you see the logo as either a credit or debit transaction and it also allows you to use any ATM with the Visa/Mastercard logo, but you may be subject to a surcharge. If you card does not have a Visa/Mastercard logo, you must make purchases as a debit transaction using your Pin.

Typically if the card is used as a credit card and the customer signs their name, there should be no charge.  If the customer uses their pin, gets money back, it may be treated as a foreign ATM transaction and could be subject to a fee.  You should contact your financial institution to verify.
