On Sunday 13th February 2011, a lovely sunny morning here in Gran Alacant, the Mayor of Santa Pola, Miguel Zaragoza, accompanied by the Councillor for Gran Alacant, Loreto Cascales, opened the long awaited Cabo de Santa Pola Roundabout at the intersection of Avenida Noruega and Avenida Escandanavia in Lower Gran Alacant.
This major refurbishment project of an area of just over 1000m2 will improve road safety in this area near the Gran Alacant school is the first roundabout in Gran Alacant to have both a fountain with special night lights. Photos above!
Fricandos Italian Restaurant, Gran Alacant
For the month of March only, Fricandos in Upper Gran Alacant are offering a special BBQ dinner menu for €13.00 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
