C. Scott Rohm has been named President of the Turnberry Hotel Group. For the past nine years, he was Senior Vice President Operations/Partner for the West Paces Hotel Group, and previously spent nine years with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Ed Mady is joining the Beverly Hills Hotel as Managing Director, taking over for Alberto del Hoyo, who is retiring after over fourteen years at the hotel. Mady was most recently General Manager at the New York Palace, a former Dorchester Collection hotel now owned by Blackstone. He was previously with Ritz-Carlton from 1988 – 2002.

Erwin Schinnerl is the new General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. Originally joining Ritz-Carlton in 1992 as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Boston, he was, since 2003, the Area General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Boston Commons Hotel and Residences.

Philip Dailey has joined the Andaz West Hollywood as General Manager, taking over from Michel Morauw, who opened the hotel. For the past three years, Dailey had been running Sam Nazarian's SLS at Beverly Hills. He had previously been with Shangri-La for seven years as General Manager for the Shangri-La Chiang Mai and the Putrajaya Shangri-La.

Las Vegas Sands has named John Caparella President of the Venetian, Palazzo and Sands Expo Center. He replaces Rob Goldstein who was promoted to a corporate role as President of Global Gaming for Sands in January. Caparella was most recently the principal of Redmont Hospitality.

Martin Nicholson has been appointed General Manager at Encantado in Santa Fe. He was most recently the Managing Director at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. He is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort Rose Hall and former Vice President and General Manager for Carmel Valley Ranch.

Shaun Matthews has been promoted to Regional Vice President for AmanResorts, overseeing Americas and the Caribbean. Bret Borshell takes over from Matthews as General Manager of Amangiri.

Andrew Gajary takes over from Drew Schlesinger as General Manager at the InterContinental Times Square. Gajary was most recently the General Manager at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville.

Chance Jorgensen has been appointed General Manager of the Gideon Putnam Resort & Spa in Saratoga Springs. For the past six years, he had served as General Manager for the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park.

Tim Booth has been named General Manager of the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Hilton Santa Fe Golf Resort and Spa at Buffalo Thunder.

Craig Waterman has been named General Manager for the Westward Look Resort. He is the former Managing Director of the Sè San Diego Hotel & Spa and General Manager of the WaterColor Inn & Resort in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Ross Meredith has been appointed General Manager for the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa. He was most recently the General Manager at the Westin Calgary.

Kristin Campbell has joined Hilton Worldwide as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, based in McLean. Since 1993, the Cornell Law School graduate had been with Staples, most recently as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Carlson has appointed Alan Buddendeck Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. He was most recently based in Japan as Corporate Vice President for Global Communications, Brand Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Nissan Motors.

Maurizio Bonivento has been named General Manager of the New York Helmsley Hotel, slated to transition to a Westin next year. He was most recently the General Manager at the Parker Méridien and is the former General Manager of the Sheraton Stamford.

Sylvie Fayolle is the new General Manager at the Parker Méridien. She has been with the hotel for twelve years, most recently as Director of Revenue Management.

Robert Guidice has been named General Manager of the Aruba Marriott Resort's Stellaris Casino. He was most recently serving as Vice President of Table Games at Harrah's Entertainment in Chester.
 
New York's Surrey Hotel has named Shan Kanagasingham General Manager. She was most recently the Regional General Manager for the Viceroy Group in Miami, in charge of the Viceroy Miami and the Tides South Beach. She is also a former Director of Rooms at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and Raffles L'Ermitage.

Dolce Hotels and Resorts has appointed Miguel Batista Director of Development for North America. He was previously the Director of Acquisitions and Development for Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group based in New York.

Eléonore Astier-Pétin has been named General Manager of Cotton House on Mustique. She was most recently in Tianjin as Director of Rooms for the Astor Hotel. She is the former Resident Manager at Arc 1950 Le Village and former Director of Rooms for the St. Regis Bora Bora.

Michael Taylor has been named General Manager at the Hotel 718 slated to open in November in Brooklyn. He is the former General Manager of the North Maple Inn, and the Heldrich Hotel, both in New Jersey.
 
Lionel Alvarez has joined Del Mar Development in Los Cabos as Managing Director of Resort Services. He was most recently the Managing Director at Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

Marriott International has appointed Tim Miller Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Edition Hotels. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Crunch Fitness.

Vasco Baselli has joined the Hotel Oro Verde Guayaquil in Ecuador as General Manager. He was previously the General Manager for the Hotel Dann Carlton Quito.
 
Wendell Bush has been named General Manager of the Renaissance Blackstone Chicago Hotel. Since 2009 he had been with the Omni Fort Worth Hotel as Hotel Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, and former General Manager of the Westin Grand in Washington, D.C. 
 
Paul Burke has been named Chief Operating Officer for the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President/Principal of Noble Investment Group in Atlanta. He is a former executive with Interstate Hotels & Resorts in Arlington.

The Westin Riverwalk has named William Petrella General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Westin Stonebriar Resort and the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson.
 
Philip Vidal was promoted to Vice President of Operations at Prohotels in Mexico. He was most recently overseeing the Esencia Estate in Riviera Maya. He was previously managing the Hotel Royal Pedregal, and the Plaza Las Glorias Cabo San Lucas.

The Westin St. Maarten has appointed Jahangir Hadjmohammadreza as General Manager. He is the former General Manager for the Wyndham Chicago.

Don Cook was promoted to General Manager and joined the Hotel Minneapolis. He is the former General Manager of the Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown and General Manager of the Marriott Norcross.  

With Cook's move to Minneapolis, Frank Quallen has been promoted to complex General Manager overseeing both the Atlanta Marriott Northwest and Marriott Norcross. He has served as General Manager since 2004 of the Marriott Norcross. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, and the Renaissance Atlanta Hotel Downtown.

Rodney Gooden has been promoted to Hotel Manager of the Marriott Norcross. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest.  

Evan Evans was promoted to General Manager at Le Méridien Philadelphia. He joined the property last year as Hotel Manager.  He is the former Director of Operations of the Westin Philadelphia.  

Tania Getzova has become the General Manager of the Thompson Lower East Side. She was most recently the General Manager at the Soho Grand Hotel. She is the former Hotel Manager of the 60 Thompson, and former Director of Rooms at the St. Regis New York.

The Four Seasons New York has named Sam Ioannidis Hotel Manager. He has been with the company for nineteen years, most recently as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Boston.
 
Michel Volk moves to take over from Sam Ioannidis as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Boston. Volk was most recently serving as opening Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Vail.

Robert Mickey has been promoted to Senior Resort Manager at the Greenbrier. He had previously served the resort in a variety of positions from 1998 – 2004. He then joined the Sea Island Company for six years in various capacities before rejoining the Greenbrier last year as Director of Housekeeping and Transportation.

Michael Flickinger has been appointed Director of Operations for the Maderas Golf Club. He was most recently with Auberge Resorts as Area Director of Food and Beverage Operations for La Valencia in La Jolla and Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe. He is the former General Manager of the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel in Carlsbad.

Michael Collins has joined Shutters on the Beach as Director of Operations. He was most recently overseeing rooms at the Umstead Hotel and Spa. He is a former General Manager at the Palazzo Las Vegas.

Amanda Hawkins-Vogel has joined the Naples Grande Beach Resort as Director of Hotel Operations. She is the former General Manager of the West Baden Springs Hotel.

Ronen Aviram has been named Director of Operations at the Fairmont Dallas. He was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

Jim Myers has joined Hilton Worldwide in Las Vegas as Senior Regional Corporate Director of Food and Beverage-Americas. He was most recently at the Wit Hotel in Chicago as Vice President of Food and Beverage.

Scott Hamilton has rejoined Alexandre Gaudelet at BR Guest Restaurants as Vice President Operations - Joint Ventures. Hamilton was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at L'Auberge du Lac in Louisiana. He is a former Director of Food and Beverage of the MGM Grand Las Vegas, where he served under Gaudelet.

Paul Daum has been named Assistant General Manager/Director of Beverage and Food at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center in St. Augustine, Florida. For the past three years, he had served as Assistant General Manager of Beverage and Food at the Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel and Spa.

Adam Greiner has joined the Chatham Bars Inn as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position at the Greenbrier Resort. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa.

The Four Seasons Costa Rica has name Rafael Torres Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Beau Rivage Hotel in Mauritius.

Julian Griffiths has been named Vice President of Food and Beverage at the Mirage Las Vegas. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Wynn Las Vegas. Griffiths is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the New York Palace.

Robert Muehlich has moved to the JW Marriott Miami as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had been in the same position for the Marriott Miami Dadeland. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Setai Miami.

Mark Kozak has joined the Ambassador East Hotel in Chicago as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past eight years, he had been with China Grill Management, most recently as Director of Food and Beverage at the Mondrian.
 
Troy Clarke has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Royal Sonesta Boston. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Hilton Milwaukee City Center and the Pfister Hotel.

Jamie Unwin has joined the Mark in New York as Director of Food and Beverage. He was the manager of Mercer Kitchen and Jean-Georges Vongerichten's restaurant, JoJo.

Tim Arnold has joined China Grill Management in Miami as Area General Manager. He was most recently with the Hotel Zamora as General Manager. He is the former Hotel Director for Canyon Ranch Miami and Vice President Food and Beverage for HEI Hotels and Resorts.

Dan Waite has been appointed Area Director of Human Resources for Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts in Naples. He is the former Regional Director of Human Resources for the Morgans Hotel Group based in Miami.

Cheryl Magdaleno has moved to the JW Marriott Desert Springs as Director of Human Resources. For the past three years, she had held the same position at the Riviera Resort and Spa. She had previously served as Director of Human Resources for the Paradise Point Resort, the Ritz-Carlton Orlando and the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey.

Margaret Deane has joined the Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach as Director of Human Resources. She is the former Director of Human Resources for the W New Orleans and the Jerome in Aspen.

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Carlos Baruki Regional Vice Presdient, Sales and Marketing – Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management for Latin America and the Caribbean at InterContinental Hotels Group.

The Greenbrier has promoted Todd Gillespie to Vice President of Sales. He had previously served as National Sales Manager for the resort and rejoined in 2009 in his most recent position as Director of Sales. He had formerly served in sales positions for the Ocean Reef Club, the Bedford Springs Resort, the Stonewall Resort and the Glade Springs Resort.

The Rosewood Mayakobá has appointed Karin Salinas Director of Marketing. She was most recently with One&Only Resorts as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Elaine Gamer has joined the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs and both the Le Méridien Dallas and Sheraton Dallas North.

The Gramercy Park Hotel has appointed Bill Dunphy Director of Sales and Marketing. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Michelangelo New York and the Taj Pierre.

Michael Schneider has joined the Plaza Athénée New York as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently in the same role for the Alex Hotel New York. He is the former Director of Marketing of the Peninsula New York.

Virgil Napier has joined the W Vieques as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past four years, he had been the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Viceroy Anguilla.

Melanie Koscelnak has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Renaissance Blackstone Chicago. She had been with the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel since 2000, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing. 
 
The Madison in Washington, D.C. has named Doug Camp Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past seven years, he had been with the nearby Hay-Adams as Director of Sales and Marketing.

The Charles Hotel in Cambridge has appointed Heidi Bergos Director of Sales and Marketing. She was previously the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Full Service Hotels, for the Stonebridge Companies.

Mary Baxter has joined the One&Only Palmilla as Director of Sales based in Los Angeles. She was most recently with the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills as Senior Sales Manager.

Alisa Kimble returns to Four Seasons to take over from Baxter as Senior Sales Manager at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. She was previously in the sales office of the former Four Seasons Newport Beach before taking on the post of Senior Sales Manager at the Parker Méridien Palm Springs.

The Conrad Miami has named Philippe Thévenet Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently at the Conrad Indianapolis as Director of Sales and Marketing.

The Westin New York at Times Square has promoted Jim Mooney to Director of Sales and Marketing. He joined the hotel in 2008 as Director of Sales. He is the former Director of Sales at the Millennium Broadway Hotel.  

The Capella Pedregal has named Shirley Dunn Hanks Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, she spent seven years as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Mansion on Turtle Creek.

Jennie Hoffman, currently Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin South Coast Plaza, adds to her duties the role of Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.  She had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Seattle Marriott Waterfront and the Westin Seattle.

Robert McPherrin has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. Previously, he had served as Assistant Executive Director at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, Executive Director of Hotel Marketing at the MGM Mirage and Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Chicago.

Steve Garner has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Buena Vista Palace Resort & Spa. He was most recently the Director of Sales at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers and the Westin Chicago River North. He is the former Sales Director for the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Destinations in Florida.

Patricia Armstrong has joined the Millenium Broadway Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. She is the former Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Highgate Hotels and former Vice President of Sales, Americas, for Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts.

Stephanie Snapkoski has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Tysons Corner. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sandcastle Hotels & Resorts in Alexandria and is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton Alexandria Old Town.

The Doral Golf Resort & Spa has appointed Chris Bracken Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently serving in the same position for the Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club in Redondo Beach. He had previously held sales and marketing positions for the Don CeSar Beach Resort in St. Petersburg and the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra.

Rancho Valencia, an Auberge Resort, has hired Brad Naucler as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past five years, he was in charge of sales and marketing at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa. Prior to that, he was the Director of Sales at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa.

Terra Calegari is back in San Francisco and overseeing sales and marketing for the Omni. She was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Park Hyatt San Francisco before taking on sales and marketing roles for the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and the Napa Valley Marriott.

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort has appointed Brigette Bienvenu Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently in the same position at the Doubletree by Hilton Grand Biscayne Bay in Miami.

Carrington Edmunds has been named Director of Sales for the Gramercy Park Hotel. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Lowell and most recently the Mark.

Robin Ann Brown has been named Director of Sales and Catering at the Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, slated to reopen in the fall. She was most recently Senior Sales Manager for the Andover Inn.

Campbell Lodging has appointed Michael Sean Johnson Director of Sales and Marketing. He had spent the last sixteen years with Marriott International and most recently served as their Regional Director of Sales-Southwest Region.

Jennifer Williams has been appointed National Sales Manager for the Vail Cascade Resort, based in Denver. She was most recently Senior Sales Manager at the Westin Westminster. 

Monica Ciffoni has been named Director of Catering at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove. She is a former Catering Sales Manager at the Palms Hotel & Spa and the InterContinental Miami.

Jennifer Bollock has been promoted to Area Director of Revenue Management for Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts in Naples. She was most recently the Assistant Director of Revenue Management at the Arizona Biltmore.

Juan Gaffuri is returning to the Four Seasons Buenos Aires to take on the new role of Executive Chef. He had previously joined the hotel in 2001 as Commis Chef. He went on to serve the company in culinary positions at the former Four Seasons Aviara, the Four Seasons Punta Mita and, most recently, as Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh.

Auréole has promoted Marcus Ware to Executive Chef, taking over from Christophe Bellanca. Ware was most recently serving as Sous Chef.

Grégory Pugin has joined Le Cirque in Las Vegas as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Veritas in New York. He is the former Executive Sous Chef at L'Atelier de Jöel Robuchon in the Four Seasons New York.

Massimiliano Campanari has moved to Lavo at the Palazzo in Las Vegas as Executive Chef. He was most recently in the same role at Osteria del Circo in the Bellagio.

Joseph Elevado has joined L'Ermitage Beverly Hills as Executive Chef. He was most recently in Las Vegas at Social House overseeing the kitchen. Prior to that, Elevado was a Corporate Chef for Nobu Restaurants.

Vincent Russo has been appointed Executive Chef of the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. He was most recently the Executive Chef of the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas.  

Stonepine Estate Resort has named Jean-Paul Peluffo Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director. He had previously overseen the kitchens for Las Hadas in Manzanillo, Brasserie Flo based in Paris, Celebrity Cruises and Festival Cruises. He was most recently running his own kitchen in Northern California at Le Bistro.

The Rosseau in Ontario has named Shaun Crymble Executive Chef. He has been with Marriott since 1990, serving in culinary positions at the Long Wharf Marriott in Boston and, most recently, the JW Marriott Desert Springs.

The Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe has named Steve Sicinski Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Spa Chef for Mii Amo at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona.

Serge Devesa has joined the InterContinental New York Barclay as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef for Colette Bar and Bistro at the Sofitel Minneapolis.

Executive Chef Greg Biggers has joined the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower. He was most recently with Fulton's on the River. He is the former Executive Chef for Tramonto's Steak & Seafood and RT Lounge. In addition, he had served as Executive Sous Chef in Philadelphia at Morimoto.

Marche Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop has named Joe Swan Chef de Cuisine. He was most recently at Alex in Las Vegas.

La Costa Resort and Spa has named Gregory Frey Chef de Cuisine. He was most recently the Chef de Cuisine at Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach.

The Signature Grill at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa has named Owen Williams Chef de Cuisine. He has been with JW Marriott resorts for the past ten years, most recently at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.

Karsten Hart has been named Chef de Cuisine at the Castle Hill Inn in Rhode Island. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Estate by the Elderberries in Oakhurst. He is a former Sous Chef from the Windsor Court in New Orleans.

Kristian Eligh has been appointed Chef de Cuisine at Hawksworth Restaurant at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver. He is the former Chef de Cuisine at Market by Jean-Georges at the Shangri-La Vancouver and Chef de Cuisine at Diva at the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver.

Evan Goldstein has been named Executive Sous Chef at the New York Palace. He had previously served in culinary positions at the Four Seasons San Francisco, and the former Four Seasons Aviara. At the Palace, he takes over for Jonathan Haffmans who left to join the Chatham Bars Inn in the same capacity.

Sylvain Nicolas has joined the spanking new Four Seasons Marrakech as Executive Pastry Chef. For the past four years, he had been in the same post with the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh. He is the former Executive Pastry Chef of the One&Only Maldives at Reethi Rah and the Dorchester in London.

Romain Lenoir has been named Executive Pastry Chef at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. He was most recently the Executive Pastry Chef at the Beverly Wilshire. He is a former pastry chef for the Andaz London Liverpool Street and the Park Hyatt Chicago.

Pierre Poulin has joined Auréole as Pastry Chef. He was most recently in a similar position with Le Cirque.        

Wayne Kozinko has been named Pastry Chef at Hawksworth Restaurant. He was most recently the Pastry Chef for the Four Seasons Vancouver and the former Executive Pastry Chef at the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver.

The InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco has named Joseph Ferragamo Food and Beverage Manager. He had previously served as Director of Banquets for the InterContinental Boston.

Joe Orichiella has joined the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos as Assistant General Manager. For the past three years, he had been with the Conrad Chicago as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Pheasant Run Resort and Conference Center, the PGA National Resort and Spa and the former Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.

Tom Hazay has transferred within Starwood to take over as Assistant General Manager at the Nines in Portland. He was most recently the Director of Rooms at the St. Regis Atlanta.

Movita Hernandez has joined the Mokara Hotel and Spa in San Antonio as Spa Director. She was most recently serving in the same role for the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale.

Harry Mullikin has died. He, who started as an elevator boy at age 14, was named President of Western International Hotels (now Westin) in 1973, at age 46. He is remembered as the man who brought a new wave of mega-hotels to our US cities, including the 1,500-room Westin Bonaventure and the 1,100-room Westin Peachtree Plaza. In 1975, he bought New York's Plaza for Westin.

EUROPE

IHG has named Aron Libinson Associate Vice President of Development for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, based in Moscow. He was previously head of real estate and a board member at OJSC Hotels and head of hotel real estate development for Premier Hotels in Ukraine. Michael Cooper moves from Moscow with IHG to Cape Town to take on the newly created role of Vice President of Development for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Sylvain Ercoli has joined the Hotel Bulgari being built in London as General Manager.  He was most recently the General Manager for the Royal Monceau in Paris. Ercoli is also a former General Manager of the Crillon, Claridges, the Martinez and the Byblos.

Monte Carlo's Hôtel Hermitage has named Pascal Camia Director. He was most recently the Deputy Managing Director at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.

Jordi Tarrida is now in Scotland as General Manager of Turnberry. He is the former General Manager of the St. Regis Mardavall.    

London's Grosvenor House has appointed Stuart Bowery General Manager, taking over from Anthony Stewart-Moore.  Since 2003, Bowery had served as General Manager at the London Marriott County Hall. As for Stewart-Moore, he had been at the helm of the Grosvenor House since 2004.

Richard Alexander is now in London as General Manager of the Marylebone. He was most recently overseeing food and beverage at the Wynn Las Vegas. He is the former General Manager of the Mina A'Salam in Dubai and Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the Burj Al Arab.

The Flemings Hotel in London has appointed Chris Penn General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of London's Cavendish Hotel. He is the former Resident Manager of the Stafford.

Klaus Christandl has been named General Manager at the Hotel Imperial Vienna. He is the former General Manager of the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket and the Sheraton Miramar - El Gouna.

The Raithwaite Hall Country Retreat in Whitby has named Richard Mansel General Manager. He is the former Director of Operations for the (former) Capella Telluride and the former opening Front of House Manager at the Capella Castlemartyr in County Cork.

Stéphane Gras has been promoted to Hotel Manager and transferred to open the Four Seasons Baku. For the past two years, he had been the Director of Food and Beverage with the Four Seasons Cairo at First Residence. He had previously served in food and beverage management positions at the Four Seasons Prague, the Four Seasons Hualalai and the Chateau de Bagnols.

The Palace Luzern has named Markus Iseli General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur and the Four Seasons Seychelles.

Stéphane Mercier is now the General Manager at the Hilton Paris La Défense. He transferred from the Hilton Paris Arc de Triomphe where he had been the Director of Operations since 2008.

Johan Kamerbeck has been appointed General Manager of the Marriott Paris Rive Gauche. A Marriott man since 1996, he most recently was the General Manager of the Renaissance Le Parc Trocadéro and the Paris Marriott Champs Elysées.

Vincent Tissier has been named Assistant General Manager at La Réserve Geneva, reporting to General Manager Alex Carpentier. Tissier is an alumnus of the Montalembert, Le Bel-Ami, the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc and the Hotel Meurice.

At Monaco's Société des Bains de Mer, Jean-Pierre Siri, a 27-year veteran of the group, has been promoted to the position of Director of International Development. After several years at the helm of the Hotel Mirabeau, he had been the General Manager of the Hotel Hermitage since 1993.

Franck Marie has been appointed General Manager of the Grand Hotel Barrière in Dinard, taking over from Rémy Papoz, who stays within the group as Director of Operations at the Hotel Normandy in Deauville.

Emmanuel Pérignon has been named Assistant Manager at Michel Guérard's Les Prés d'Eugénie. He was previously the Director of Food and Beverage at the Héritage Le Telfair in Mauritius and the Beau Rivage, also in Mauritius. Pérignon also spent two years as Director of Food and Beverage at the Cuisinart Resort on Anguilla.

Steve Terry has joined IHG as Development Director for the UK and Ireland, based in England. He was most recently Senior Development Director at the Wyndham Hotel Group.

Marion Schumacher has joined Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in the newly created position of Vice President of Public Relations and Communications, based in Zurich. She was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Regional Director Public Relations for Europe.

The Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Interlaken has named Patrick Walther Chef de Cuisine. He is the former Head Chef for the cruise ship MS Deutschland.

Kerstin Rischmeyer has been promoted to Chef de Cuisine at the Palace Luzern. She joined the hotel in 2009 as Sous Chef.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Scott Swank has returned to his former role of General Manager at the Pan Pacific Singapore. He was previously overseeing the hotel in the same role from 2003 to 2008 before moving into the corporate role of Senior Vice President of Operations. He is the former Resident Manager of the Oriental Singapore.

Sven Isberg has been appointed General Manager of the Langham Shenzhen, scheduled to open in 2012. He was most recently managing the Shenzhen Hilton and had previously served as General Manager for the Chongquing Hilton and the Parmelia Hilton. Also slated to open in 2012 is the Langham Place, EDZ, Guangzhou where Franck Nalleau has been named General Manager.

Ian White has been named General Manager at the Lan Hai resort in China. He was most recently the General Manager at Amanfayun in Hangzhou.

Lukasz Prendke takes over from Ian White as General Manager at Amanfayun. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Imperial Springs Resort.      

Siddharth Mehra has moved as General Manager to Amandari in Ubud. He was most recently the General Manager for Amansara. Former Amanbagh General Manager Sally Baughen takes over for Mehra at Amansara.

Tamir Kobrin takes over from Charles Morris as General Manager of the Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi. Kobrin was most recently in the same position at the Leela Palace Kempinski Udaipur.

Ferry Warnke has been appointed General Manager of the Swissôtel Kolkata. He was most recently with the Swissôtel Merchant Court, Singapore as Executive Assistant Manager.

Daniel Fueglister has moved as General Manager to the Swissôtel Sydney. He was most recently at the Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel as General Manager.

Lauren Teranishi has been named General Manager at the Kona Reef Resort. She was most recently with Enterprise Rent-A-Car where she served as Branch Rental Manager for five years.

Damian O'Donnell is the new General Manager for the Sails in the Deserts Resort at Ayers Rock in Central Australia. He was most recently at the Shangri-La Suzhou as Resident Manager. He is the former Resident Manager at Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Resort Manager for Evason Hideaway at Ana Mandara.

Garth Solly has been appointed General Manager of the Holiday Inn Cochin. He was most recently the Manager of the InterContinental Wellington in New Zealand. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.

Drew Schlesinger is now in Sydney as General Manager for the Star Hotel and Casino. For the past year, he had been the General Manager at the InterContinental Times Square. He is a former General Manager of Mondrian West Hollywood.

CapitaLand's Ascott Limited has appointed Tan Boon Khai Regional General Manager for Singapore and Malaysia. He was most recently the Senior Vice President in the Office of President at CapitaLand.

Matt Sutter has joined the St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay as Hotel Manager. He was most recently at the Peninsula Tokyo as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served in food and beverage positions for the Capella Singapore, the Hyatt on the Bund and the Park Hyatt Seoul.

Christian Gérart has joined the Gran Melia Jakarta as Resident Manager. He was most recently with the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa in Bali as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He had previously served in food and beverage positions at the Oberoi Mauritius and Cotton House on Mustique.

Within Amanresorts, Duarte Cunha has moved to Aman Sveti Stefan as Village Manager. He was most recently serving as Villa Manager at Amanpulo.

Dant Hirsch has been promoted at the St. Regis Princeville to Director of Operations. He joined the resort last year as Director of Rooms. He had previously served in rooms management positions for the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota and the Tigh-Na Mara Seaside Spa Resort in British Columbia.

The Concorde Singapore has promoted John Pang to Executive Assistant Manager. He joined the hotel in 2009 as Director of Food and Beverage before being promoted a year later to his most recent post as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage.

Urs Solenthaler has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Jakarta. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Riyadh. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Sentosa Resort & Spa Singapore and the Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore.

Udo Wittich has joined the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Manila as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with the Fairmont Nile City as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

The Kahala Hotel & Resort has promoted Stuart Kotake to Director of Food and Beverage. He joined the resort in his most recent position as Director of Catering and Conference Services. He had previously served in catering and conference services positions at Walt Disney World Resort and the Walt Disney Company.

Niklas Wagner has joined the pre-opening team of the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa in Vietnam as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong. He had previously held food and beverage management positions at the Four Seasons Doha and the Four Seasons Dallas.

Alexandre Usseglio has joined the St. Regis Tianjin as pre-opening Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Mulia Senayan. He had previously held food and beverage management posts for the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the Kahala and the Ritz Paris.

Mazy Cheng has been named Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers. Since 2001, she had been with the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong as Director of Human Resources.

The Four Seasons Sydney has named Katie Mitchell Director of Marketing. Since 2005, she had been in the same position for the Four Seasons Resorts Lanai'i.

Shannah Milstead has been named Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing sales for both the Fairmont Kea Lani and the Fairmont Orchid. She was recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Fairmont Dallas.

Charles Keegan takes over from Stuart Kotake as Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Kahala. He joined the resort in 2006 as Catering Assistant and was most recently serving as a Catering Manager. He had previously served in catering positions for the Waldorf=Astoria New York and the Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki Hotel.

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Anne Marie Chua Director of Corporate Communications, Asia Pacific. She was most recently the Communications Director, North and Southeast Asia at Alcatel-Lucent.

Sumanth Das is moving over as Executive Chef to the Four Seasons Jakarta. He was most recently the Executive Chef for the Four Seasons Seychelles. Das originally joined the company in 2004 as Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Alex Gares has been appointed Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Koh Samui. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Soneva Fushi Resort in the Maldives. The native of Barcelona is the former Executive Chef for the Hotel Condes de Barcelona.

David Schue has joined the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu as Executive Sous Chef. He was most recently in a similar role for the Naples Grande Beach Resort. He had previously served as Chef de Cuisine for the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

Stéphane Clasquin is now in Singapore as Restaurant Manager at Prego in the Fairmont Hotel. He was most recently overseeing Club XIX in the Lodge at Pebble Beach. He is the former Restaurant Manager of Ortolan and L'Orangerie in Los Angeles.

Simon Martin is now in Beijing as Director of Rooms for the Shangri-La Kerry Center. He was most recently in the same position for the InterContinental Montreal.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Jean-Luc Naret has been appointed Managing Director of Héritage Resorts au Domaine de Bel Ombre. Located on the island of Mauritius the compound includes the Héritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resorts, the Heritage Aali Gold & Spa Resort, the Villas, the C Beach Club, the Chateau de Bel Ombre and the Golf Club. This is the second time around in Mauritius for Naret who was the General Manager of La Résidence in the late ‘90's. Naret is also a former Managing Director of Sandy Lane. He was most recently the Managing Director of the Guide Michelin.

Nicholas Emery is now in Abu Dhabi as General Manager of the Qsar Al Sarab by Anantara. He is a former General Manager of the Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills.

The Armani Hotel Dubai has named Jason Harding General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Palace - The Old Town and the Lowry Hotel.

Klaus Assmann has been named General Manager for the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai, scheduled to open by the end of the year. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the Madinat Jumeirah International in Dubai and the Shangri-La Hotel Makati Manila.

Abdul Baaghil is the new Managing Director for the Crystal Group Beirut Lebanon. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Fairmont Nile City and was previously the Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Beijing.

Jean-Pierre Leclerc has joined Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts as General Manager for Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. He was most recently serving as General Manager at La Pirogue Hotel on Mauritius and is the former General Manager of the Coco Beach Hotel, also on Mauritius.

Mrad El Khoury has been named General Manager of the Towers Rotana Dubai. He is the former General Manager of the Burjuman Arjaan by Rotana and the Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa.

Max Wiegerinck has joined the St. Regis Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi as Hotel Manager. He was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

Sébastien Noat has been named Director of Hospitality Operations for Roya International in Dubai. He was most recently the Operations Manager at the Media One Hotel Dubai.

The Four Seasons Amman has promoted Khalid Bseiso to Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Cairo at The First Residence.

Amr Fawzy has been named Director of Human Resources at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh. Fawzy has been with the company since 2009, most recently at the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stephano.  

Chelan Goonetilleke has been promoted to Senior Director of Marketing to oversee both the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita. He was previously a part of the pre-opening team of the Four Seasons Mauritius as Director of Marketing.  

Hilton Worldwide has appointed Haitham Matter Regional Vice President of Sales for the Middle East & Africa, Eastern Europe, Turkey & Russia, based in Dubai. For the past decade, he had been with IHG, most recently as Area General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing for Lebanon.

Julian Crane has moved to the Four Seasons Doha as Director of Sales and Marketing. Since 2007, he had served as Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Damascus. He is the former Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Sydney.

The Radisson Blu Dubai Downtown has appointed Hazem Aouad Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Sales for Kempinski Mall of the Emirates.

Claudia Venturini has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Doha. She was most recently with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as Area Director Sales and Marketing for Africa.

Pinar Kirlar has been appointed Marketing and Communications Manager for the Radisson Blu Dubai Downtown. Kilar had previously held marketing and PR executive positions with the Conrad Istanbul, and Hilton Worldwide hotels in Istanbul.

Stéphane Puverel has joined the Ritz-Carlton Dubai as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef for the Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai. He is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Doha.

Christopher Bateman has moved to the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel as Executive Chef. He was most recently with Jumeirah's Meydan Hotel as Senior Executive Sous Chef. He had previously served in culinary posts with the Jumeirah Emirates Tower, the Jumeirah Essex House and the Four Seasons Maui.
